Prayer For Spiritual Revival

Disturb us Lord when we are too well pleased with ourselves.
When our dreams have come true, because we have dreamed to little. When we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore.

Disturb us Lord when even with the abundance of things we posses, we have lost the thirst for the waters of life. Having fallen in love with life, we have ceased to dream of eternity and our efforts to build a new earth. We have allowed our vision of the dream of the new Heaven to dim.

Disturb us Lord to dare more bodly. To venture on wider seas where storms will show your mastery and where losing sight of land we shall find the stars.

We ask You Lord, to push back the horizons of our hopes. And to push into the future in strength, courage, hope, and love.

America was conceived 225 years ago in faith and rocked in the cradle of liberty by God's guiding hand. Then, it formed its system of values and justice from the Judeo/Christian belief system. Our Founders had strong faith in the Creator and thus, it provided for them the wisdom and the courage needed to create the greatest nation "Under God".

The Constitution, The Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights expressly recognized God as the source of our unalienable rights, personal freedom and our system of laws.

The First Amendment clearly states: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…."

Therefore, if there is "No Law" by what authority does the federal government, state, courts, or institutions dictate to the people that they may not recognize God in the public square?

America does not have the lawful authority to separate God from the government and from the public square.

Let us be clear, churches and their symbols do "NOT" belong in our courthouses and the public square, but God does!

As Satan tries to use separation of church and state to divide a nation, and the term "politically correct" to bring about apathy, we Christians must defend at all costs the enduring principles of faith, love of country, and truth and justice. For those principles are the basic principles that define us as Americans.

WHAT IS SPIRITUAL WARFARE?

'Spiritual warfare' is the struggle to have life in this material world reflect as much as possible God's loving governance. It is a 'war' because there are forces working vigorously to thwart what God is doing. God is in charge, but there is an enemy that is in full-scale revolt, and it has powerful influence all around. As with the unseen God, the forces behind the revolt are unseen, non-physical, and supernatural. They lust after power in the world of visible, material beings. Just because the battle is unseen doesn't mean it isn't going on. It is. In every nook and cranny of our earthly existence.

My friends, spiritual warfare truly exists. It exists in the supernatural dimension, where God is all-powerful and Satan is in revolt. As Christians, currently we are going through more than a mere struggle here in America. Under President Obama's administration, abortion is rapidly becoming the "new" birth control for many women, prayer is unconstitutional in the schools and denied in the public square, legalization of homosexual marriages are on the rise, and economically and socially America is behaving more as a socialist nation than a democracy. God is under attack. America is under "spiritual warfare". The Bible says that God holds us accountable. Romans 14:12 says, "So then each of us shall give an account of himself to God". American Christians cannot sit in apathy and pretend that nothing is wrong or think that someone else will take care of the problem. No friends, it is up to us to fight back and stand up for God. Above are pictures of a few members of the Meditation and More prayer group. The group is made up of people from various denominations that have similar values in common; love of GOD, country, and their fellowman. They are all spiritual warriors in my opinion. Why?

More than ever spiritual warriors are needed to stand shield to shield in order to protect the little that is left connecting our country to a loving GOD which are IN GOD WE TRUST on our currency and UNDER GOD in our pledge to the flag. Those haters of GOD would like to see limiting the tax exempt status of churches and the removing of religious symbols from the exterior of worshipping centers. If we continue to be an apathetic nation of Christians, the children of the next generation will not know who Jesus Christ is.
